Description
The Violator speaks for itself ...and WOW does it speak! It's alder body comes in either Charcoal Frost or Gunmetal Gray and is loaded with Eric Johnson Special Pickups in the neck and bridge (DP211FBC and DP212FBC respectively) and a YJM DP217CR in the middle position. A trick 4-pole 5-gang selector switch gives you lots of options. The mean, lean Violator comes with a single volume control.
Hardware includes an Original Floyd Rose Tremolo with recessed fine tuners, gold Sperzel locking tuners, gold pickup frames, and a Hipshot Trem-Setter for extra tuning stability.
The countoured heel cut shaves about a quarter inch off the thickness of the heel and sculpts the lower horn for improved access to the upper reaches of the fretboard.
