The Haywire SubSound-2 (Seven Sound Switch) option

The Haywire SubSound-2 or Seven Sound Switch comes with this Nashville Shredneck Custom Special“Shredneck” special. It also has a set of Lollar Vintage Blonde pickups plus a Vintage Blackface Strat in the middle. The 5 way switch normally accesses-pickups as follows:

5-way selector switch pickup combinations
position 1 Bridge pickup alone
position 2 bridge + middle pickup in parallel
position 3 middle pickup alone
position 4 middle + neck pickup in parallel
position 5 neck pickup alone

The concept behind this SubSound-2 (Seven Sound Switch) mod

With the toggle switch between the volume and tone control there are two more guitar wiring choices available. In Haywire Custom Guitars Shop seven sound switch helps the 5 way switch is normally accesses-5 pickup tones. The concept behind this seven-sound switch mod is simple.

We add a toggle that can activate the neck pickup when needed.  This means whenever you need the neck pickup you can add it in or out of the circuit anytime with the flick of the toggle switch.

The Haywire SubSound-2 (Seven Sound Switch) switch is located conveniently between the tone and volume controls. This keeps it safe from being accidentally turned off when strumming. It’s great to have more options!

Haywire Custom Guitars USA-Custom Shop 7 Sound Guitar with Lollar Pickups in Parchment with aged knobs and a Classic Pickup in the bridge! Position 1 of the 5-way selector switch activates the bridge pickup alone; by engaging the toggle switch, you will activate both the neck and the bridge pickups together. Likewise, with the 5-way selector switch in the second position and the bridge and middle pickups activated, a flick of the toggle switch adds the neck pickup to the equation.
