This Super-Active Haywire Custom Shop Nashville Player guitar has a set of EMG SA’s. They have lots of power, punch, sustain and clarity with no noise. The pickups are internally grounded so they won’t pickup and “hum” from lights or RF signals. The battery is located in the back just under the tremolo cover and can be changed in 60 seconds. The 9 volt Battery life is approx. 1-1/2 years. Pickup life-forever!  A Knurled knob added for easier volume roll-off. The Sunburst Custom Shop body is very light- only 3 lbs. With the diverse variety of music that is presented in these shows, the players are constantly having to change guitars to get the sounds they want for the individual songs. The universal problem is that these shows move at such a fast pace, there simply isn’t enough time to to make the desired instrument changes.

The solid six-saddle vintage style bridge and matched pickup allows the player to get those classic twangy Nashville country tones. While the three pickup design with enhanced switching configuration allows the player to evoke the sounds of Hendrix, Clapton, and everything in between. The “Number One” comes standard with either the active EMG SA Series pickups, of the passive style Lollar Black Face Series.

The passive setups are complimented by the Haywire Treble Bleed Circuit.  It allows your high frequencies to shine through, even when you have the need to set your volume at a lower setting. Haywire also includes their exclusive “Seven Sound Pickup Modification” to this guitar.  This also, gives you the two additional combinations of the neck and bridge pickup together or all three pickups together.

 

Due to another key feature unique to this particular guitar is the ability to accommodate either a 25-1/2″ or a 24-3/4″ (Gibson®) scale neck with no body or neck modifications. The solid six-saddle vintage style bridge creates lots of sustain and allows for precise intonation verses the standard 3-saddle vintage bridge. Sustain is further enhanced by way of its string through body design.  Installed stainless steel frets on the quality Warmoth neck to therefore insure ultra long life and silky smooth bends.
