We’re often asked: “How do you sell guitars on Reverb so cheap?”

We are musicians working for musicians. Thanks for following our shop and our company (http://www.haywirecustomguitars.com).

We have new guitars all the time. We level, re-crown and polish all the frets on our guitars. The action is always nice and low. The electronics are built with special additions to make life easier and sound better. Necks can be any size or profile you’d need.

We don’t make money on Reverb. Our custom shop builds for Pro level players all over the world. While we love Reverb, but is not really “our thing” but we have to maintain a presence just as our competitors do so as not to become invisible. You know! It’s how business is done in the cyber world these days. I like the people I meet on Reverb much more than say, a website such as eBay. The customers there are more serious about good instruments.

Reverb guitars sold don’t make us money

We have no paid advertising anywhere to help keep costs down for you, our customers (mainly guitar players who are vastly underpaid) who need good tools and aren’t flush with cash. We support them and they support us.

In between custom builds for players around the globe, we’ll build guitars as the one in the photo. We use necks and designs we’d want for ourselves with everything and more. We use extra parts leftover in the shop to bring our favorite creations to life.

We are all retired players and have sufficient income to support our simple lifestyles and at our age, we’re not very needy. It’s not about money for us. We don’t need this job, we just love it. We are accomplished guitar techs and luthiers rivaling some of the best companies out there. We are here for guitar players.
