Musicians typically don’t have lots of cash to burn. We get that. Haywire Custom Guitars has a stock of Excellent quality and refurbished guitars especially for them!

Excellent Condition used guitars

When an item has been used, but only has minor cosmetic defects, this can be considered Excellent . Minor surface level scratches, such as pick marks from regular use, would qualify. As well we’ll check any and all electronics in each guitar upon arrival, leveling frets, re-crowning and polishing them and dressing any sharp ends. The truss rod is adjusted, pickup height set, action and intonation set and new strings added.

We take trade-ins on our own instruments as players want to upgrade to something better or at least more specific to their performance needs. Those guitars are refurbished and listed for sale on our Reverb store.

Here, players can choose from a selection of great guitars fully set up and ready to gig with. It’s a great alternative to spending more money on something brand new, which won’t be brand new in a week. In this way we can give back and help players get what they need to do their chosen job of playing music their way. At Haywire we’re, “musicians working for musicians”. We get it and want to assist players in any way we can.

Haywire will also take trade-ins on guitars from other manufacturers and re-furbish them, refinish and re-sell them as better used guitars for players who need quality instruments at lower prices.
