Nashville Haywire”Shredneck” Special

<div>First of all, I Just Want A Really Great Guitar ….. Can you do it?  Most noteworthy, about this question, we never get asked it. It’s true, as of 2018 the question, “I Just Want A Really Great Guitar, Can you do it? ” has never been asked of us in the Haywire Custom Guitars, custom shop. Why not? Seems like it would?  Furthermore, we are asked, “Can you do it in purple?”, “Can I have it by Tuesday?”, “How about locking tuners”?

Possible to put on a thin neck?, Can I get an 8 way switch instead of a seven? What does it weigh? and especially relevant any other questions regarding a great guitar except, can you build me one? Why? Unfortunately the players suffer when they don’t ask the right questions. As a result, they only take their own suggestions and not ours when seeking the great guitar they want. What about a “Shredneck”?

This Nashville Haywire“Shredneck” special has a set of Lollar Tele pickups and a Vintage Blonde Strat in the middle. The 5 way switch normally accesses-pickups as follows:

5-way selector switch pickup combinations
position 1 Bridge pickup alone
position 2 bridge + middle pickup in parallel
position 3 middle pickup alone
position 4 middle + neck pickup in parallel
position 5 neck pickup alone

The concept behind this seven-sound mod is simple: add a switching device that can activate the neck pickup at will.
Finally, with the toggle switch between the volume and tone control there are two more choices available:

5-way switch pickup combinations 7-sound mod
position 1 Bridge pickup alone bridge + neck in parallel
position 2 bridge + middle pickup in parallel all three pickups in parallel
position 3 middle pickup alone
position 4 middle + neck pickup in parallel
position 5 neck pickup alone
