When guitar pickups suddenly stop working, It's a very easy fix for a guitar repair shop. As well a hobbyist who can solder, a guitar tech or a handy neighbor with a solder gun can do it too. First: 1) Identify the wire not connected. This can be done by removing the two outer screws from the control plate and carefully turning it over 180 degrees and sitting it back down in the hole (see example photo below). Now you can view all of the wiring on the control plate. 2) Look for one errant wire "not connected" to either the switch or the back of a volume or tone control pot (a usual ground wire location) with some solder still on the end. 3) Once identified look for a possible connection where it was once soldered. You can most likely see where it was joined in the circuit by checking to see and clump of solder without a wire connected to it. That's usually a clue as to where it broke away from. We just need to get them back together. 4) Simply solder the wire back and you should have it fixed.

No need to rely on anything other than your talent and ability. You don't need props, play-pretties or crutches to be a successful and great musician. Make your own sound. It's in your hands.

Installing a bolt-on guitar neck involves carefully attaching and aligning the neck to the guitar body using screws, ensuring proper alignment and a secure fit. This process requires precision to avoid damaging the guitar and to achieve optimal playability. Here's a step-by-step guide: 1. Preparation: Test Fit: Before any drilling, ensure the neck fits into the neck pocket. Alignment: Use the two E strings as guides to align the neck perfectly with the body. Marking: Mark the screw hole locations on the neck using a pencil. Depth Gauge: Use tape on the drill bit as a depth gauge to prevent drilling too deep. 2. Drilling: Pilot Holes: Drill pilot holes in the neck pocket, slightly smaller than the screw diameter. Clearance Holes: Drill clearance holes through the neck, ensuring they are large enough for the screws to pass through without binding. 3. Installation: Clamp: Use a clamp to hold the neck in place while you install the screws. Screws: Apply a lubricant (like dish soap) to the screw threads to help them turn smoothly. Secure: Tighten the screws on the bottom first then the two top screws. 4. Setup: Check Alignment: After installing the neck, double-check the alignment and adjust if necessary. String Action: Adjust the string height (action) to your preference. Intonation: Set the guitar's intonation to ensure proper tuning across the fretboard. Additional Tips: Neck Angle: Aim for a neck angle of 0-5 degrees relative to the body. Shims: If necessary, use shims to adjust the neck angle. Finish: Be careful not to damage the guitar's finish during the process. Professional Help: If you're not comfortable with this process, seek help from a professional guitar technician at Haywire Custom Guitars Inc. USA.
