What Should a Guitar Tune-Up Include? 8-Point Process
The ultimate purpose is the musician, not the instrument. This is probably the clearest expression of Haywire's philosophy. We have always said: "a difficult-to-play guitar can become a “roadblock” to a musician's success, while a properly prepared instrument lets the player concentrate on music rather than fighting the guitar". So, in one sentence, I would characterize Haywire's philosophy this way: A guitar tune-up isn't about making a guitar merely acceptable; it's about transforming the instrument into a comfortable, accurate, reliable musical tool that is properly matched to the person playing it. That philosophy also explains why Haywire calls our service an “8-Point Gig-Ready Process” rather than simply a conventional “setup.”
