Why is My Guitar Difficult To Play?
The most common issues making a guitar hard to play are:
1-Faulty guitar nut slot height or the nut slot is too deep which makes strings too high or low, therefore harder to push down on a fret.
2-Guitar Action (String Height) too high or too low can make a guitar difficult to play.
3-Your guitar frets are not of 100% uniform height causing fret buzz and unpleasant sounds which tend to irritate you. We can level all frets.

4-Is your neck straight? Most likely-it’s not. This causes you to fight with the guitar and change your technique on various portions of the neck making playing more of a struggle than a pleasure. We’ll straighten your guitar neck.
5-String gauge is too heavy. If the strings are too big and thick they can be more difficult to manage and tend to make playing harder. Try a lighter gauge string. We can do that for you.
6-Got Fret Sprout? What is that?? an undesirable condition in which the sharp ends of the frets protrude from the outside edges of the fingerboard giving a sharp “saw-blade” effect. This is very uncomfortable. These are some of the usual problems needing correction to make your job of playing guitar, better, easier, more comfortable and fun guitar playing!
7- Neck too thick. Change to a thinner profile. We can add a new guitar neck for you.
